Founder, President
Crystal Ye
Crystal Ye (she/her) is a 17-year-old high school senior from Alpine, New Jersey. Inspired by her research studying the detrimental effects of vaping on the respiratory systems of mice, Crystal created Clean Lungs For The Youth to shed light on the rapidly growing issue of teen vaping.
She hopes that through this initiative, she can inspire adolescents to make more informed health decisions. Outside of CLFY, Crystal is a flutist at Manhattan School of Music Precollege and a part of the youth organization Where Music Carries Us. She enjoys swimming, writing, and collecting Jellycat bunnies in her free time.

Yuanning Hui
Yuanning Hui is a junior at Tenafly High School who aims to spread awareness of the dangers of vaping and substance abuse. For CLFY, she helps plan events and projects and manages the Instagram page, which you can find here! She is interested in science research and plays the flute. In her free time, she likes to draw, bake, and watch movies.

Matt Manesh
Matt Manesh is a current senior at Great Neck North High School who is excited to be a member of CLFY and educate the youth on the dangers of vaping. Outside of the organization, he enjoys playing tennis and spending time with family and friends. He hopes that by talking out to younger children, Clean Lungs For The Youth can make a difference in averting the vaping epidemic.

Amanda Zhang
Amanda (Yiyu) Zhang is a current senior at Syosset High School who is proud to join CLFY and inform young people about the risks associated with vaping. Outside of the organization, she enjoys playing badminton and reading novels. She is highly interested in pursuing medicine in college and is excited to spread information about the dangers of vaping, especially to the body and mind. She believes that Clean Lungs For The Youth can help stop the vaping pandemic by reaching out to both kids and teenagers.

Ayushi Chadha
Ayushi Chadha is a sophomore at West Windsor Plainsboro High School North in Plainsboro, NJ. She is interested in public health and education, and having felt the negative impact of vaping in her community, joined CLFY! She actively participates in HOSA and RedCross. Ayushi is also a flutist, and enjoys playing a wide variety of genres - including Bollywood! In her spare time, you can find her reading, painting, and watching horror movies.
