About Us

Clean Lungs for the Youth is committed to prevent the epidemic of vaping by educating kids from a young age. Our group consists of young individuals who can relate to the pressures and struggles of decision-making, and seek to inspire others into smarter, health-conscious decisions. We believe that education about smoking is most effective at a young age, and should come from those who understand and sympathize with the feelings of the youth. We aim to use the resources we have- our voice, knowledge, and most of all our passion- to improve the health of our future generations.

Collection Stanford Research Into the

Impact of Tobacco Advertising

E-cigarettes are often marketed as 'healthier than smoking cigarettes.'

Consider this:

Many teens who vape never smoked in the first place-- so it's not about making a healthier choice; it's about starting with a dangerous one.

There are nearly 2,000 chemicals in e-cigarettes. With millions of high school and college students vaping that would never think of smoking, vaping is not a matter of risk reduction for them.

Big Tobacco directly targets children. Hundreds of fruity and candy flavors; eye-catching designs; high-tech appeals with-- starting from 2023--game functions. Their creative designs tend to distract people from the truth:

We don't know the long term effects of vaping.

It took decades for Big Tobacco to even admit to the dangers of smoking cigarettes. Smoking companies have a long history of duplicitous behavior. Camel was still making ads captioned 'More Doctors Smoke Camels' in 1952, after studies had started to show correlations between smoking and cancer. They dismissed the dangers of second-hand smoke, and even tried to convince the public that nicotine wasn't addictive.

Now we know better, why let it happen again? Why let these companies control our purchases and choices, flaunting 'reduced-risk' devices meant to get you addicted?

about us

We seek to influence the youth by debunking the many lies regarding e-cigarettes that have been pervasive in social media, pop culture, and word of mouth. We want to show exactly how Big Tobacco has been deceiving and pandering the the younger generation so that they can continue to vape after the decline of cigarettes.

Clean Lung’s mission is twofold; to educate the youth on the dangers of e-cigarette usage as prevention, and to provide peer-to-peer resources and support for those who want to quit. Organized and run entirely by high school and college  students, we aim to build a community around shared values of physical and mental health, giving a comfortable space for young adults to confide in those who share similar social environments.

Our executives and presenters have spoken to 200+ young students from schools and education centers about the dangers of vaping; our content creators have created visual and written resources; and Crystal has hosted several creative events to shed the stigma on the topic of vaping.
