FALL FOCUS:
environmental impacts of vaping
We tend to forget how vaping impacts the world that we live in. Vapes are three types of waste in one: plastic waste, hazardous waste, and electronic waste. While the plastic of e-cigarettes can take hundreds of years to degrade, pods, cartridges, and batteries can leach their toxic chemicals into the environment, harming us and wildlife alike.
This year, we took part in CNN's Call to Earth, a network initiative to report the environmental challenges facing our planet.
